The company was created on June 30, 2005 by splitting without dissolving the SA ISSAT, which created in 1994 by Christophe Demeyer and his parents was for the main activity the management of retirement homes for the elderly.

It is thus April 19, 1994 that opened its first establishment, the residence Léopold in 7011 GHLIN. Two years later, in June 1996, the Residence Colibri opened in 1020 BRUSSELS. In 2000, a third establishment was added called Les Jardins de Picardie at 7600 PERUWELZ.

As management progressed, although centralized in Faulx-les-Tombe, there were major differences since the authorities on which these institutions depended were different. The Co-Com for the Colibri Residence and the Walloon Region for the two others.

Whether at the level of the population, at the level of occupations, staff management, etc., there were big differences between the Brussels establishment and the others. Always attentive to keep legal entities sufficiently small and independent that - if necessary - that can be sold by a sale of shares rather than assets, a split occurred from June 30, 2005. Two companies were born of this act, the BRUXIS SA (for the cases concerning Brussels) and the WALIS SA (for the affairs concerning the Walloon Region) which then shared the assets of the initial company, including the nursing homes. .
