The company was created in 1991 by Christophe DEMEYER and his parents.

It was originally a public limited company that acquired the Château de Faulx by buying it from the Brussels municipality of Etterbeek, which could no longer maintain it because of lack of financial means.

This domain consists of the Castle, the old stables and a cafeteria develops on 30 hectares of park, woods and meadows., All crossed by 2 rivers: Arville and Samson.

During 3 years there was developed a hotel business which very quickly disappointed the shareholding as the customer showed a lack of respect for the site and its surroundings.

In 1994, therefore, the shareholders decided to keep the Faulx Castle completely private, then making the head office of several other companies they developed since then.

In 2006, by notarial deed, and following an appraisal of the company's assets, a capital increase was recorded, leading it to more than 6.5 million euros.

In 2011, SA DEMLOC becomes a notary deed SPRL DEMLOC with Christophe DEMEYER as statutory manager.

On the occasion of the marriage in 2011 of Christophe Demeyer and Frédéric DUMONT, the latter took care of giving back to the place its previous letters of nobility by reviewing the decoration and redrawing parts of the park or the inner courtyard. Together with her husband, they did a lot of work that makes the place a bit of the magnificence it had before.

In 2012, the shareholding of the SPRL DEMLOC is modified thus making Christophe DEMEYER, majority shareholder of the SPRL DEMLOC.
